November 2019 Wrap Up

Day 2 of #Blogmas features all of the stories I finished in November. I read so many fantastic books in November and found a few books that didn’t hit the mark for me as well, here’s my wrap up✨

A River of Royal Blood by Amanda Joy was a fantastic piece of YA literature and I loved the representation, here’s my review if you want all of my thoughts!

Wires & Nerve Vol. 1 & Wires & Nerve Vol. 2: Gone Rogue by Marissa Meyer were my very first graphic novels, if you’ve ever read The Lunar Chronicles then I hope you’ve fallen in love with the twisted fairytale like I have. These continuations of the story were EVERYTHING, I encourage you to go check them out.

Queen of The Conquered by Kacen Callender was a super dark adult fantasy that I couldn’t put down even through the slow parts. Sigourney’s tale was captivating and her powers were unmatched until murders begin happening and she begins to lose touch with reality. This is a novel you NEED on your shelves for the history lesson and the plot itself. Here’s my review

I also read The Bromance Bookclub by Lyssa Kay Adams just for fun and it was a weird premise but it somehow worked? It wasn’t a showstopper but I’m glad I gave it a chance, here’s my review of this quick read.

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

Not The Girl You Marry by Andie J. Christopher was not my cup of tea, here’s my review if you want to know why it just barely made it by with 2 stars.

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

I was very excited to get into The Beautiful by Renee Adieh but it wasn’t meant to be, the writing was beautiful and it wasn’t slow I just wasn’t as invested in the characters as I could have been. I missed a lot of the subtle clues and hints and I felt there were a few loose ends, I’ll post my review soon because I’m still making out what my feelings are on it.

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

The Gilded Wolves was 5 STARS. It was so perfectly crafted and well researched. I loved the heists and I loved the intellect and diversity of each of the characters. I’m going to write an in depth review because this book deserves way more hype than it got. I can’t wait to read The Silvered Serpents because the ending of this book left me dead inside.

I hope your November was wonderful, Blessed Be Readers✨
