Blogtober // WWW Wednesday

In honor of #Blogtober I wanted to switch it up for Wednesday! Today I’ll be doing Which Witch Wednesday and featuring my favorite witches from books that I’ve read.

Manon Blackbeak:

First up is my favorite witch in YA Manon Blackbeak. Not only is she one of the baddest bitches I have yet to encounter but she also has a kick ass fight scene with a certain fire queen that is iconic to me. From her silver hair, to her golden eyes and her Wyvern whom I’ve come to love I can’t wait to see what she brings with The Thirteen in Kingdom of Ash which debuts in 20 days 🙀

The Swan Sisters:

Marguerite, Aurora & Hazel Swan were sentenced to death for the crime of witchcraft, a crime that they didn’t commit. Every summer solstice the small river town of Sparrow is haunted by the ghosts of these sisters until they claim three souls for revenge. I’m a sucker for a good revenge trope and I wish Ernshaw would write a novella about the sisters alone but I loved their parts in the story so much. It all ended up to be quite sad and this story was actually fantastic! I definitely recommend it!

Evelyn is better know as Ursula the Sea Witch in this retelling of The Little Mermaid. This story was dark and twisty and I absolutely loved Evie and the darkness that she became. It was a total light to dark trope. Go read it.

The Mortiz Sisters:

Alex, Rose and Lula are the most powerful sisters in all of New York so it makes sense that chaos would ensue right? These three follow their hearts so of course an adventure is always to be had. It’s a diverse story full of LGBTQ rep and family values and I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment!
